Hana Abbasian
Hana Abbasian (SSW’28) is launching MotherWrite Collective, a series of creative writing, painting, and pottery workshops for BU student-mothers, with a community journal where participants can share their work. Hana plans to start with a small pilot and explore partnerships with the BU Office for the Arts, the Creative Writing Program, and BU’s chaplaincies.
Kuhu Bhattacharya
Kuhu Bhattacharya (Questrom’28) is building WalkieTalkie, an app that finds another BU student nearby who shares an interest and nudges both of them to put their phones away for a 20-minute walk together. Students sign up with their BU email, so the person on the other side is someone from campus.
