Vectro Labs
Vectro Labs is building the data layer for the robot revolution by crowdsourcing egocentric training videos from humans performing everyday manipulation tasks using consumer smart glasses, then using AI to extract hand poses, object trajectories, and depth maps that robotics companies need to train their foundation models. The company provides training-ready datasets for contact-rich manipulation tasks like working with deformables, tool use, and bimanual coordination at $15-50 per sample—20-100x cheaper than traditional teleoperation methods that cost $200+ per demonstration. Vectro Labs is led by Zulal Akarsu (MET’26) and Sloane Sambuco (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
