FumiTranslator is an AI-powered translation and redrawing platform built specifically for East Asian comic books (manga, manhwa, and manhua) that automates the detection, translation, text removal, and redrawing of comic panels to enable near-instant localization in any language. The platform helps publishers, studios, and creators overcome slow and expensive traditional translation workflows, allowing them to reach global audiences faster and compete with piracy by dramatically increasing the supply of legally available translated content. FumiTranslator is led by Achuthan Menon (ENG’28) and Chiebuka Onuoha (University of Virginia).
