Internship Description
	We offer various volunteer position and a combination of them may work as an internship for BU students. For example we have a student working two days per week in the Surgicenter assisting the nurses with various tasks and one day per week working on the front desk in the lobby. This combination offers two views of the Infirmary and lots of contact with staff and patients. We have another student working in the Contact lens service, the chart room and the Surgicenter, Each student creates a set of placements that meet their goals

What information do you need from the student to apply for an internship with your site?
	Student must apply in person at the Volunteer Service office at 243 Charles Street, Boston The Infirmary will provide a health screening to which the student must bringHis/her immunization record. The student must complete an orientation program.
Additional Comments:
	We need students with good interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
