Congratulations to HRPI Fellow Daniel Marsili on being named President of the NAHR.
January 10, 2023 – The Board of Directors of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR) announced today that Daniel Marsili will succeed Jill B. Smart as the next President of NAHR, effective immediately.
Daniel was a member of the Human Resources team at Colgate-Palmolive Company from 1991 until 2020 and was Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) from 2005 until 2020. Prior to joining Colgate-Palmolive Company, he held Human Resources positions at Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group and Hyatt Corporation. Daniel was inducted as an NAHR Fellow in 2012 and was elected to the NAHR Board of Directors in 2019. Daniel will bring his energy, passion for the profession, and dedication to the NAHR to this role, and the board is delighted to welcome him as our next President.
Daniel has been an active contributor to the human resources profession throughout his time with Colgate-Palmolive Company. He currently sits on the Steering Committee of the Human Resources Policy Institute at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business where he is a past Steering Committee Chairman and where he was elected a Fellow in 2020. He is an active emeritus member of the Global CHRO Board, a collaborative movement of CHROs committed to elevating the future of the Human Resources function.
