Nancy Curby

Special Advisor to the Vice President & Associate Provost, and Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff and Special Advisor to the Vice President and Associate Provost, Nancy plays an integral role on Global Programs’ senior leadership team. Among her many duties, she supports the execution of cross-functional priorities and contributes to the development and strategic growth of Global Programs. Nancy improves the flow of internal communications and assists in collective efforts to strengthen, support, and coordinate BU’s international programs and operations across the University and around the world. She works closely with Program Data Analyst Joe Dobrowolski to oversee Global Programs-related data support, analysis, and communication.

Prior to joining Global Programs, Nancy served on the executive team and led corporate fundraising for Feeding America, the leading U.S. hunger relief nonprofit. She also held senior leadership roles at various consumer product companies and agencies overseeing strategy, marketing, communications, brand management and new product development.

Nancy earned a MBA, with a concentration in Marketing and Organizational Behavior, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Princeton University. In her spare time Nancy enjoys traveling, volunteering with hunger relief charities, reading on the beach and taking art classes.
