As a Graduate International Student Advisor, Hannah Dumont counsels and advises international students on the U.S. visa and immigration system. Prior to joining Global Programs, Hannah served as a SEVIS coordinator and Designated School Official at Rivier University, where she advised international students on F-1 visa compliance, complex immigration issues and F1 employment benefits. Her professional background also includes teaching and early childhood education as a Lead Teacher as well as community-based support for immigrant and refugee populations as a Client Relations Intern at the International Institute of New England.
Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Southern New Hampshire University. Having earned her graduate degree in England, Hannah deepened her appreciation for global perspectives and the international student experience.
She is an active member of NAFSA and is passionate about social justice and mental health advocacy. Hannah also enjoys engaging in cultural exchange, travel, and community-based volunteer work.
