As Program Manager of External Programs, Abbi Eidt advises students interested in study abroad with non-BU programs on credit transfer procedures, program integrity, and overall study abroad process. She also supports the Associate Director of Program Development and External Programs on the development of short-and long-term programs as needed.
Prior to joining BU Global Programs, Abbi worked in the EdTech sector. Before that, she served in various positions at the Massachusetts-based study abroad provider Spanish Studies Abroad where she gained significant experience in advising, outreach, and enrollment management.
Abbi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, with a focus on International Studies, History and Spanish, from the University of Mississippi. She also holds a Master of Arts in International Education from the School for International Training. Abbi studied abroad twice as an undergrad and spent a semester studying in both Argentina and Scotland.
