2026 Photo Contest
2026 was another remarkable year for the Global Programs Photo contest! We had 337 Terriers submit 807 photos. The photos submitted are a constant source of pride for just how talented and well-traveled our BU community is. Speaking of community, there were submissions from all schools and colleges, administrative offices, students (including Evergreen and BU Academy), post docs, faculty, staff, and alumni. Speaking of well-traveled – 87 countries, territories and island nations were photographed and 33 US states and the District of Columbia. Children were the most photographed subject with 61 photographs, tying 2022 when the theme was “Joy”, and sunsets came in second with 42 photos.
We want to thank our guest judges this year, CGS Dean Natalie McKnight and CFA Alumna Mai-Han Nguyen, who studied abroad in Venice, Italy. They served on our panel for the judged category. And thank you to the 769 of you who voted in the Peoples Choice category!
