As a Senior ISSO Coordinator, Maya Mackey provides administrative assistance to a diverse international student, scholar, and employee population of nearly 12,000. She advises clients on basic immigration and university procedures and performs preliminary immigration processing.
Prior to joining Global Programs, Maya worked as a Broadcast Director for St. Lawrence University’s hockey programs and as a Museum Interpreter for the Frederic Remington Art Museum in Upstate New York.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Digital Media Production from St. Lawrence University. After graduation, Maya moved to Bielefeld, Germany, where she studied as a foreign language student for a year. Maya has traveled throughout Europe and North America, with plans to do more exploring. She enjoys watching films, attending concerts, learning new languages, and spending time with her family and friends.
