About Us: The GK12 Project STAMP at Excel High School would not be possible without the contributions and efforts of several institutions and groups. Below you can find links to those that have supported our goals.

The Boston University branch of a national program sponsored by the National Science foundation.

"Project STAMP is an NSF-funded program that partners graduate and undergraduate fellows with teachers in K-12 classrooms in Boston, Quincy and Newton"

The parent program that encompasses BU's GK12 STAMP and several other outreach programs.

"LERNet is designed to serve as a resource center and clearinghouse for these activities, to help with ongoing events, and to assist faculty who are interested in planning new programs"

"Boston University -- independent, coeducational, and non-sectarian -- is an internationally recognized institution of higher education and research located along the banks of the Charles River and adjacent to the historic Back Bay district of Boston. With more than 30,000 students from all 50 states and 135 countries, it is one of the largest independent universities in the United States."

The federal body that funds the program and several similar ones across the nation.

" The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…" With an annual budget of about $5.5 billion, we are the funding source for approximately 20 percent of all federally supported basic research conducted by America's colleges and universities."
