Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with Dexis

Dexis is seeking an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to provide expertise in qualitative research methods to the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Division. The M&E Specialist will work on the global performance evaluation of the Feed the Future Initiative as well as other potential performance and impact evaluations with USAID and Department of State. The work location for this position will be in Washington, DC. This is a full time, position. The start date for this position is immediate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design of qualitative methods in evaluation protocols.
  • Develop key informant and focus group guides
  • Lead coding and analysis of qualitative data
  • Contribute to technical proposal sections
  • Participate on evaluation teams as qualitative researcher

Qualifications

  • MA in social sciences with at least 5 years of practical research experience.
  • Experience with qualitative research methods required.
  • Experience with ATLAS.ti, NVivo, Dedoose or other qualitative data analysis software required.
  • Experience managing projects and tracking budgets
  • Experience working in developing countries preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish or French preferred
