Android Developers Needed for Boston-Based Start-Up Focused on Health Communication for Expectant Mothers
OBaa, a startup right out of the MIT GFSA, is looking for android developers. We are building a platform to allow expectant mothers communicate better with their healthcare provider

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of responsive and intuitive applications
- Assist in the design of applications from concept to launch, and through their life-time
- Keep up with trends and new developments in the space of mobile development (i.e. material design)
- Collaborate in the development of innovative ways to increase user immersion and interaction
- Assist in the testing of software products via emulation-based and/or live demo-based methods
- Join the product team in the development of the mobile development life cycle
- Evaluate and increase an application’s effectiveness
- Clarify what actions the program is intended to perform
- Work closely with data analysts and designers to increase the product’s feature-set and robustness
Qualifications:
Strong preference will be given to candidates with the skillsets outlined below
- Java and Javacript
- XML
- Objective-C/Swift (for iOS platforms) (a plus but not required)
- Experience in developing custom UI interactions and interfaces
- Experience with Parse, Github and Crashlytics

He also serves as a key liaison with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group for medical education, graduate medical education, and research. This program is designed for students after their first semester with less than 3 years of job search experience as well as more experienced students interested in refreshing their skills. Each session will give you tools and techniques to more effectively market yourself during the job search process. The cohort model adds to your learning, and assignments are required. Sessions are in class and online. Space is limited. Registration required by January 9, 2015 at http://sph.bu.edu/careerprep.
Note: While Career PREP will be held on Wednesdays from 5-5:50pm, some dates are subject to change due to unforeseen SPH-wide scheduling conflicts. Dates will be finalized by January 9, 2015.

The application cycle for Santander Universities Scholars Program for spring practicums will be open from October 20th through November 7th. There are an expected 10 scholarships available for students traveling to Latin America and another 10 need-based awards for any student planning to travel internationally.
