Lisa Falso Doherty began her career in food as a student in Boston University’s Professional Culinary Arts Program. After graduating in 2006, Falso Doherty worked with East Meets West caterers, working her way up to events chef onsite while assisting and teaching hands-on classes for adults and kids at BU. Through the Food & Wine Programs, she met and began working as a freelance food stylist with Sheryl Julian at the Boston Globe. She also spent time alongside fellow graduates, working sales for Effie’s Homemade. In 2009, Falso Doherty began working with Chef Ming Tsai as marketing and culinary manager, spending two seasons as a culinary producer and one season as art director on the PBS series Simply Ming, as well as serving as prop stylist for the cookbook, Simply Ming One-Pot Meals. In 2011, Flaso Doherty returned to BU full-time and is currently the assistant director of Food & Wine Programs.
