Kitchen Facilities

Boston University’s Programs in Food & Wine utilize a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen with two stovetops, ovens, a refrigerator, and a large overhead mirror that provides a birds-eye view of demonstrations—ensuring that each student sees expert techniques in practice.

In addition, the hands-on learning experience is enhanced by our extra-spacious laboratory kitchen. Boasting the latest professional culinary equipment, this facility enables you to gain familiarity with the fast-paced environment and diverse tools of a working kitchen.

You have access to the culinary library of the Programs in Food & Wine, which includes seminal cookbooks and literature on gastronomy, cuisine, and wine studies.

The Boston University library system also employs two librarians whose expertise is in gastronomy. Learn more about the library’s gastronomy texts, click here.
