To sponsor, facilitate, and communicate initiatives focused on the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the culture, practices, and policies of External Affairs.
Statement on Furthering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We will foster a culture of belonging and promote opportunities for meaningful connections with others. We will listen to understand and encourage an open flow of communication and information within our workplace. We will be transparent in our decision-making and actions. We will build a community that continuously improves and grows through advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Our Focus
The 2024–2025 Steering Committee is currently focusing on community building and navigating multiple changes in leadership at a department and University level.
