Why did you join the DEI Committee?
I think a lot about the ways by which large organizations (such as ours) build sustainable, lasting pathways toward achieving specific goals—and I’m interested in being part of that process! My parents steeped my siblings and I in the warm bath of political organizing from a very young age, and I’m eager to plunge new depths, here.
What item would you hoard if you learned it was being discontinued?
The coffee from Tandem Coffee Roasters in Maine is my favorite, by a mile. If they were ever to stop selling…I’d have to build something like a wine cellar for these beans.
