This virtual Un-Meeting will be hosted by the Genomic Information Commons (GIC) on April 13, 2022, 12 PM – 4 PM ET. 

The GIC is an NCATS/NIH-funded continuously updating, queryable, federated system that has established scalable technologies, policies, and procedures to share genomic and phenotypic data across sites of care.

Join this Un-Meeting to learn about using and analyzing federated genome and phenome data, and aligning consenting processes across the Consortium.

The Ohio State University (OSU) is on a journey to modernize its research informatics infrastructure. It is increasing researchers’ access to clinical data by adopting a new data classification, integrating research tools into the electronic health record (EHR) for improved care, and deploying general discovery infrastructure – all on a governance process that is reliable and transparent.

This new module in the CLIC Education Clearinghouse provides a case example of the application of the 5Ts framework (team, tools, target population, time, and tips to accommodate) for inclusion of older adults in research and an equally illustrative case example of the application of the 5Ms framework (mind, mobility, medications, multi-complexity and matters most) in Geriatrics.
