During the academic year, we invite visiting writers to Boston University to meet with our poetry and fiction students for Q&A sessions and, in some cases, give readings of their own work. During these Q&A sessions, our visiting writers answer queries about editorial practices, publishing, craft, and the writing life. We consider these candid conversations incredibly important to our graduate students as they begin to consider their career and creative options post-MFA.
Visiting poets for the fall of 2025 will be Camille Ralphs, William Logan, and Meg Tyler.
The visiting fiction writer for fall of 2025 will be Shubha Sunder.
