Administrative Coordinator
Annaka Saari is a writer from Michigan. She received her BA in English (with a minor in the History of Art and a sub-concentration in Creative Writing – Poetry) from the University of Michigan and her MFA in Creative Writing – Poetry from Boston University. Her poetry and essays have appeared in The Southern Review, The Missouri Review, Cleveland Review of Books, Image, and other publications, and her work has received support from the MacDowell, the Boston Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, the Key West Literary Seminar, and the Writers’ Room of Boston.
She currently works as the administrative coordinator for the Creative Writing Program at Boston University, where she occasionally teaches intro-level creative writing courses and poetry courses. She also serves as a poetry reader for the Los Angeles Review and is the former managing editor of Solstice: A Magazine of Diverse Voices.
