Alexander Olshevsky

Associate Professor, ENG (ECE, SE)

Alex Olshevsky is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Affiliate Professor of Systems Engineering at Boston University. He received a B.S. in applied mathematics and electrical engineering from Georgia Tech in 2004, and an M.S. and PhD from MIT in 2006 and 2010, both in electrical engineering and computer science. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar  at Princeton University and an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. 

Professor Olshevsky is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the Young Investigator award from the Air Force, two best paper awards from SIAM and INFORMS, and three awards for teaching/advising during his time at the University of Illinois.
