CISE Fall Workshop 2026: AI Evaluation & Alignment for High-Stakes Systems

Sponsored by the Center for Information & Systems Engineering, this workshop will bring together researchers to explore how AI systems can be effectively evaluated, aligned, and governed in high-stakes settings. Topics will include benchmark design, human feedback, evaluation, post-deployment monitoring, human oversight, and guardrails, with applications in energy, healthcare, business operations, education, and scientific discovery. Through talks, panels, and poster sessions, the workshop aims to identify important research challenges, foster new collaborations, and generate ideas for future grants, partnerships, and broader initiatives in trustworthy AI.
