Ian Poole is the seasoned Senior Data Analytics Developer at CIDA, where he meticulously maintains and enhances internal backend systems. His expertise lies in automation, data visualization, and leveraging a diverse toolkit that includes Python, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Before joining CIDA, Ian played pivotal roles in Sourcing & Procurement. Initially, he served as a Data Analyst, and later, as the Systems Manager for Ariba. As the Project Lead, he contributed significantly to the successful implementation of Ariba. Since then, Ian has continued to roll out impactful tools that benefit various facets of the university, including the Financial Research Expenditure Dashboard, Supplier Searchable Database, and Intellectual Property Policy signing.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ian finds solace in board games and cherishes quality time with his effervescent daughter.
