As the Administrative Coordinator for the Center for English Language & Orientation Programs (CELOP), Carmen provides clerical and administrative support to CELOP staff and faculty. She is responsible for academic scheduling, allocation of offices and classrooms, and providing front-line customer service.

Prior to working at BU Global Programs, Carmen lived in Spain for two years, teaching English and studying Hospitality Management. She previously worked for a Japanese university’s satellite English language school in Boston as an Academic Coordinator.

Carmen holds a B.A. in Political Science from UMass Boston and a diploma in Hospitality Management from HTL School in Barcelona. She has traveled to over 20 countries and hopes to see many more!
