Program Features

• Advance your English language skills in 6 weeks
• Meet Boston University students and English language learners from around the world
• Access the resources of a highly ranked research university
• Experience life on a university campus through Boston University student organizations and activities

Curriculum

• Develop your overall English proficiency in all skill areas
• Participate in Integrated Skills classes in 1 of 4 instructional levels:
  • Elementary
  • Intermediate
  • High Intermediate
  • Advanced
• Take skills courses at your individual language level in speaking and listening, academic writing, and reading and vocabulary
• Develop skills for global competency and intercultural communication including teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and more
• Join activities such as team research projects, guest speakers, and field trips

Required Proficiency Level

• High beginner or above

Admission Requirements

• Minimum age 17 years
• Senior in high school or high school graduate
• Ability to speak, understand, write, and read simple English sentences
