Program Features

• Advance your English language skills in 4 weeks
• Meet Boston University students and English language learners from around the world
• Experience life on a university campus through Boston University student activities

Curriculum

• Take language skills courses in 1 of 4 instructional levels:
• Elementary
• Intermediate
• High Intermediate
• Advanced
• Develop your English proficiency by taking courses in reading and writing and speaking and listening
• Choose from elective courses in areas such as business communication, media news, or Boston and American culture
• Develop skills for global competency and intercultural communication including teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and more
• Join activities such as team research projects, guest speakers, and field trips

Students participate in 2 morning skills classes and 1 afternoon elective class (either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) per week:

Admission Requirements

• Minimum age 17 years
• Senior in high school or high school graduate
• Able to understand, speak, write, and read simple expressions for basic needs
