Boston University Off-Campus Services provides resources and information if you want to live off campus. Their office maintains updated listings of available rental apartments and sublets in the Boston area. The service is free of charge to all Boston University students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Off-Campus Services website has information on tenant rights and responsibilities, neighborhood descriptions, definitions of common rental terms, considerations before signing a lease, and other resources to help with your housing search.

Students who choose to live off campus are strongly encouraged to make their housing arrangements well before arriving in Boston. If you choose to live off-campus, please note that CELOP cannot assist you. You are responsible for finding appropriate living accommodations on your own.

CELOP is on the “B” Green Line of the MBTA and on the #57 bus route. Neighborhoods that are nearby include Boston, Brookline, Allston, Brighton, Cambridge, and Newton.
