- Students accepted to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. CELOP has prepared students admitted to the following MBA programs: Boston University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Babson College, and others
- Students interested in applying to an MBA program
Program Features
- Learn to successfully prepare for business case discussions by using common analytical frameworks and study strategies
- Sharpen presentation skills with clear organization, persuasive messaging, rapport-building with listeners and confident body language
- Acquire strategies for classroom participation, including expressing ideas and opinions quickly, asking questions and responding to cold calls
- Learn norms and behaviors of American small talk and business networking
- Attend interactive lectures given by local business professionals and thought leaders
- Develop additional skills to succeed in an MBA program including working on teams, exploring lecture listening strategies and mastering common writing assignments
Curriculum
The 4-week program mirrors the type of academic setting and learning expectations that students will need to perform in during their MBA studies. As such, the curriculum includes extensive work to familiarize students with preparing case discussions and working in a group to complete various aspects of a team project including a final presentation that will be evaluated on a variety of factors. The content of the program is evaluated on an ongoing basis to be in line with most recent trends in the business world. Topics could include any of the following as well as others:
- Logistics and Globalization
- Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century
- Disruptive Innovation
- The Greening of Business / The Impact of Sustainability
- Strategic Communication / Classroom Culture in Graduate Business Programs
- Competition and Market Forces

Class Schedule
Classes take place mornings from Monday – Friday. Meeting times are somewhat flexible depending on engagement of outside speakers and participation in networking opportunities. Similar to an MBA program additional work outside of class will be required in order to be successful.
