Career Options in Product Management

Training sessions will be available online following live webinars.

• May 19, 2020: Organization, Product Management, and Career Planning

This training session is an overview of typical organizational structures, the role and responsibilities of Product Management in an organization, and the job search.

• May 26, 2020:  Business Planning

This session will review traditional business case planning and the current conventions for business cases. This will give participants background to prepare a business plan for a small company or make a case for project funding in a larger corporation. 

• June 2, 2020 (11 AM – noon):  Reading Financial Statements

This training session will review basic financial statements and prepare for your start-up or product portfolio in a larger corporation. The ability to understand financial statements is also helpful for gathering competitive intelligence or learning about a company to prepare for the interview process.
