Miles was a junior at Howard University in Washington D.C. Miles majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He participated in the Adera Lab with mentor Yimin Zhou.
Miles was interested in nanotechnology and how it can be applied in mechanical and/or aerospace engineering. After graduating, Miles planned to become employed at an aerospace/aeronautical company. In his free time Miles enjoys playing basketball, reading, and cooking.
