Introduction to Experiential Learning at BU
In this workshop, EL Ambassadors introduce the concept of experiential learning and go over the wide range of opportunities available to students at BU, such as: applied coursework; community engagement; creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial projects; fieldwork; internships, leadership; mentored research; student employment; and study abroad/away. EL Ambassadors will also provide tips for students to maximize their engagement in these types of opportunities. Recommended time for this session is 30 – 60 minutes.

As part of the workshop, EL Ambassadors will teach a model of reflection and lead your group through a customized reflection. Recommended time for this session is 45 – 60 minutes.
Communicating Transferable Skills from Experiential Learning Experiences
