Bradford Washburn, a cartographer, explorer, and photographer and the first man to climb Mt. McKinley twice, is the focus of an ongoing Special Collections exhibition on the fifth floor of Mugar Memorial Library. His wife, Barbara, joined him on the second ascent in 1947 (above), becoming the first woman ever to climb the mountain. Exhibition hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Photo by Thomas Winship
