Terriers Hire Men's Basketball Coach

Former Villanova associate head coach to lead BU team

Patrick Chambers had been associate head coach at Villanova before being being hired as the new BU men's basketball coach.

Patrick Chambers, the former associate head coach at Villanova University, was introduced as the new men’s basketball coach at a press conference April 8 at Agganis Arena. At Villanova, Chambers, whose responsibilities included recruiting, on-court teaching, and player development, helped the Wildcats earn four NCAA Sweet 16 appearances and a spot in this year’s Final Four.

The new coach said he hopes to sit down with Jack Parker (SMG’68, HON.’97), BU men’s head hockey coach and executive director of athletics, to learn about his recipe for success.
