Olympus VS120 Virtual Slide Scanner

The VS120 is a high-throughput slide scanner that is capable of automatically imaging and stitching 100 slides in color bright field mode as well as fluorescence mode.

The automated slide scanner is equipped with 10x, 20x, 40x objectives, a 3.2MP colored camera (AVT Pike F-505C) for color imaging, and a Hamamatsu Orca Flash 4.0 for fluorescence imaging with fluorescence emission/excitation filter cubes for the following stains: DAPI, FITC, TRITC, CY5 and CY7 dyes. An X-Cite 120LED light engine from Excelitas is used for fluorescence excitation, to ensure minimum system maintenance.
