IR-VIVO Small Animal Imager

The IR-VIVO is an infrared multispectral imager that uses near- and short-wave infrared light to image small animals in vivo. The system benefits from reduced light scattering, absorption, and autofluorescence, enabling high-contrast and sensitive imaging of biomarkers in real time. The IR VIVO takes advantage of the latest SWIR imaging technologies, including an ultra-low-noise InGaAs camera, novel homogeneous illumination, and powerful analytical software. This combination of features provides unprecedented imaging speed, resolution, and depth.

IR-VIVO Features:

    • High spatial and temporal resolution
    • Non-ionizing & non-invasive imaging
    • Large penetration depth (10x greater than traditional visible optical systems)
    • Emission spectral range from 400-1600 nm for Bioluminescence and Fluorescence measurements
    • Light sources: White LED as well as 465 nm, 670 nm, 760nm, and 808 nm lasers
    • Six emission bandpass filters in the visible / near IR range including 530 nm (FITC) , 550 nm (CdSe QD), 641 nm (InP QD), 716 nm (Alexa Fluor 680), 732 nm (Alexa Fluor 700), and 832 nm (ICG)
    • 6 emission filters in the near IR / SWIR range: Four 50 nm spectral width bandpass filters at 1025 nm. 1075, nm 1125 nm, and 1175 nm and two long pass filters at 1000 nm and 1200 nm
