An Evening of Shostakovich and von Dohnanyi

The BU Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Shostakovich and von Dohnanyi on Tuesday, March 6, at the Tsai Performance Center.

The BU Symphony Orchestra will perform Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 15 and Ernst von Dohnanyi’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in D minor on Tuesday, March 6, at 6 p.m. in the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Ave. The concert features conductor David Hoose, a College of Fine Arts professor and director of orchestral activities, and violinist Peter Zazofsky, a CFA associate professor and member of the Muir String Quartet. Admission is free and open to the public.
