Provost hosts first Faculty Awards Recognition Luncheon

More than 100 faculty members gathered in the Metcalf Trustees Ballroom on Monday, May 8, to attend the first annual Faculty Awards Recognition Luncheon, hosted by the Office of the Provost. The list of honorees includes more than 200 faculty members, who won a wide range of awards, including Guggenheims, Metcalfs, PEN awards, and Humboldt Fellowships.

Provost David Campbell, who delivered the keynote speech, said the event was designed to recognize and appreciate the University’s “exceptional faculty, all of whom have distinguished themselves, their disciplines, and their schools and colleges by being awarded these significant honors.”
