American Idol contender wins hearts at Metcalf Hall
Fresh from her success as the 13th runner-up in last season’s American Idol contest, Boston College freshman Ayla Brown stepped onto the stage at Metcalf Hall on September 22 to pluck the heartstrings of a small but passionate crowd of followers. The six-foot-tall Wrentham native, who plays for BC’s women’s basketball team, appeared to have no qualms about singing her heart out to the rival BU crowd.
