Gary W. Nicksa recently became vice president of operations at BU.
As part of a recent restructuring, Executive Vice President Joseph Mercurio this summer appointed Gary W. Nicksa vice president of operations at BU. A certified public accountant with more than 25 years of experience, Nicksa has served as CFO for such area schools as Newbury College and Buckingham, Browne & Nichols. He has also worked in the health insurance and real estate development industries. The restructuring was designed, Mercurio says, to achieve “greater integration between the Charles River and Medical campuses’ support functions.”
