2:00 PM: A works-in-progress seminar with Alyssa Hunziker (BU, English) with a response from Lisa Lowe (Yale University). Prof. Hunziker’s paper will be pre-circulated to registered attendees; it is entitled “Playing Indian: Filipino and Puerto Rican Students at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School.”  REGISTER HERE to receive the paper in advance. This event will take place in Room 100, 226 Bay State Road. 

5:00 PM: A public talk with Lisa Lowe (Yale University). American Studies and Colonial Histories of the Present.”  (Registration is not required). This event will take place at BU Hillel, 213 Bay State Road, Room 426.
