Use AI responsibly and effectively in your role by following the recommendations on AI usage from AIDA Leadership.
3) Watch Event Recordings
AIDA regularly hosts events that invite staff to share their experiences with and questions about AI. These event recordings are about 90 minutes in length.
1/15 “Innovative Use of AI in Education”: This event started 2026 strong by showcasing a panel of administrative professionals who have leveraged AI in their daily roles. 3/25 “AI in the Workplace with AIDA”: As part of the Staff Advisory Council’s Lift Off Series, this live-streamed, hybrid workshop covered responsible, practical use of generative AI in administrative work. It featured AIDA guidelines, a live TerrierGPT demo, guided prompting exercises, and practice problems based on real needs at BU. View the livestream (Access Password: 3n0e.60w).
4) Take the AI at BU Certificate Course
AIDA, in collaboration with the Institute for Excellence in Teaching & Learning, has launched the AI at BU Student Certificate—a 4-hour, self-paced fully online course designed to introduce students, faculty, and staff to the fundamentals of AI and its responsible, ethical, and effective use in academic and professional settings. This certificate was developed in close collaboration with BU Virtual, BU’s online academic innovation unit. Submit this form to get access.
