This course provides a comprehensive dive into typography, from core principles, anatomy, and historical evolution, to the strategic selection and combination of typefaces for different media applications. Students will explore strategies for establishing hierarchy for still and dynamic applications. Through hands-on projects and exercises, students will develop a mastery of typographic methods as a basis to discover innovative typographic forms and concepts for print and screen.
