SED CH 300
Develops pre-service teachers' understandings of the content and methods of instruction in the language arts, social studies, and science. The course focuses on elements of curriculum design; teaching strategies, and institutional policies and practices at the elementary level. Attention is given to providing effective instruction across the curriculum to culturally and linguistically diverse learners. Instructor permission required. Seminar with fieldwork. 10 cr. Effective Fall 2020, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Writing-Intensive Course, Creativity/Innovation.
