Study Abroad and Internship Programs
BU Internship and Language & Liberal Arts Programs
Boston University Study Abroad offers Questrom School of Business students an unmatched variety of study abroad programs in more than 30 cities and 20 countries around the world. These programs offer students the opportunity to study languages, economics, international relations, political science, fine arts, science and engineering, and business management. Upon successful completion of these programs, Questrom students receive liberal arts credit. Questrom students who participate in the London Internship Program, the Dresden Internship Program, the Shanghai Internship Program, the Los Angeles Internship Program, the Dublin Summer Internship Program, the Washington, D.C., Summer Internship Program, and the Sydney Internship Program may pursue and receive credit for business courses and internships.
Management Exchange Program
Boston University’s Questrom School of Business offers an exciting opportunity for students to incorporate international experiences into their business education. Students can spend a semester at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy, Sabancı University in Turkey, or at Seoul National University, working closely with business faculty and participating in classes with students from diverse backgrounds. Management Internship Programs
These programs provide Questrom students the opportunity to gain valuable, practical work experience by participation in management-related internships abroad. Students have the opportunity to intern abroad while taking classes at the University College–Dublin, Ireland; Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain; University of Sydney, Australia; University of Auckland, New Zealand; Université Paris-Dauphine, Paris, France; Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy; or The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Internship-Only Programs
Boston University Questrom School of Business and Newcastle University Business School have partnered to offer internships abroad, allowing participating students to:
- Integrate with an internship site to learn about local culture and business practices
- Access regions of the world rarely explored by Questrom students
- Visit local companies to learn more about the economic climate of their host country
- Complete an internship abroad without academic coursework or credit
While programs vary from year to year, Questrom students have had opportunities thus far to intern in Singapore, Israel, India, and England at sites including the Reserve Bank of India, the Self-Employed Women’s Association, and Kwang Sia.
