- Undergraduate Prerequisites:
- CAS PH 450 or CAS PH 451 or CAS PH 452 or CAS PH 453 or CAS PH 454 or CAS PH 455 or CAS PH 457; any one philosophy course from CAS PH 450-457, or consent of instructor.
Examines conceptions of the good, based upon the sorts of phenomena that we value, i.e, the sorts of things we deem "good" or "valuable," and our modes of access to these phenomena. The examination draws on similar historical and contemporary treatments.
