Dr. Zlateva’s research interests include computational modeling of visual perception, parallel and distributed processing, and pattern recognition. She was instrumental in developing the information security curriculum that led to Boston University’s designation as a Center for Academic Excellence by the National Security Agency. She is an expert in online course delivery and development, and she has an accomplished research background in computer science. She is currently the director of the Boston University Center for Reliable Information Systems and Cyber Security (RISCS).
