Dr. Torres-Ardila’s research interests lie mainly in the study of the geometry and topology of infinite dimensional manifolds and their relation to mathematical physics. Torres-Ardila approaches teaching by promoting classroom activities that resemble his research strategies, emphasizing independent and creative thinking. He participates in and collaborates with the Boston University College of Arts & Sciences Mathematics & Statistics Department Geometry Group.
