Prereq: biochemistry or physiology, and consent of instructor. This is an integrated treatment of human endocrinology: biosynthesis of hormones, regulation, receptor interactions, and physiological effects. The course is presented in lecture format and in small group discussion sessions where clinical cases are used to exemplify the mechanisms of endocrine function. 2 cr, 2nd sem.
