Minor in Music (Non-Performance)

The School of Music offers an academic minor consisting of 20 credits. Required courses: CFA MU 101, 102, 107, 108 (8 credits in music theory). These courses may be waived by passing a proficiency exam but must be replaced by other approved courses in music theory. An additional 12 credits in music are chosen with the approval of the advisor for music minors. Applied music and composition courses require an audition or departmental approval.
