Study Abroad and Internship Programs

Boston University sponsors a variety of study abroad and internship programs around the world. Students in the School of Hospitality Administration program are encouraged to participate in internship opportunities in London, England; Paris, France; Sydney, Australia; Madrid, Spain; Washington, D.C.; Shanghai, China; and Auckland, New Zealand. With prior approval, SHA students may study abroad for one semester, typically during their junior year. Students must be degree candidates in good academic standing. Courses taken abroad may be used to fulfill hospitality electives, general electives, distribution, or language requirements.
